The Academy

All of our dancers are invited to perform in additional events throughout the season in addition to our annual June Recital! (Pending age requirements for each event.) Every chance to perform allows each dancer to strengthen not only their technical abilities, but also grow their performance quality, confidence in themselves, and strengthen their bonds as a dance family! We are so proud to offer additional opportunities for our dancers to perform throughout the year and create new memories with our dance families.

Broome County Festival of the Lights!

Broome County Festival of the Lights was a BLAST!

We toured the beautiful light show at Otsiningo Park, took a ride on the Tall Pines Train, met Santa, and ate some goodies and sipped some hot chocolate. It was a great holiday event to get our dance family together and celebrate the holiday season. Dancers ages 9 and up were invited to perform a holiday routine with the Binghamton University Dance Team! We absolutely LOVED performing and cannot wait to perform again next year.

All dancers in 1st-8th grades were invited to the Binghamton University Dance Team's annual Spirit Clinic! Our dancers learned a routine and had the opportunity to perform on the Dr. Bai Lee Court at a division 1 Women's Basketball Game and cheer on our Bearcats for the day. Everyone did such a fantastic job!! We cannot wait to perform on the court with BUDT again next year.

The Company

Our 2022-2023 competitive Company ranges in ages from 9-18. In the future, we may consider expanding this opportunity to ages 6-8. These dancers travel to regional and national dance conventions and competitions throughout the year. They have opportunities to take classes with industry professionals, experienced teachers, professional dancers and choreographers, and receive personal feedback for their performances! Company dancers are required to commit to a specific amount of classes each week in order to truly focus on their technical training and improving their performance quality. Their hours of training varies pending ages but usually ranges from 2 to 3 weeknights per week. If your dancer is 6 or older and interested in auditioning for our 2023-2024 Company please email us at danceintentions@gmail.com to discuss requirements and set up a meeting.
